I have had a million great ideas on how to start this blog, but obviously I never succeeded in getting anything together. I had visions of showing pictures of my quilts, needlework and cooking. Right. Last week on one of my regular crawls through a thrift store I found the most amazing piece of cotton on linen needlework. Age and origin unknown, but in a beautiful handmade walnut frame. The colors are still bright and the workmanship (workwomanship?) is awe inspiring.
So, where better to start my blog than with the kind of vintage needlework that has inspired me for more years than I can remember?
